South Wales Police Federation is today remembering fallen colleague PC Daniel Thomas on the 18th anniversary of his death.

Daniel (34) was killed in a motorcycle accident as he was travelling home from duty at Barry on 20 February 2005.

Branch chair Steve Treharne said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Daniel’s family, friends and colleagues today.

“The policing family is a close-knit one and we will continue to remember him as we do all our fallen colleagues.”
