Today marks the 22^nd anniversary of the death of South Wales Sergeant Mark Woodward.

Mark, who was 30, died in a motorcycle accident while travelling to report for duty.

Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation, said: “Today we remember Mark, the service he gave to the Force and his dedication to policing the communities of South Wales.

“We also remember the loved ones he left behind; his family, his friends and his former colleagues.”
