Fallen colleagues remembered
South Wales Police Federation today remembers two officers who lost their lives on this day.
PC Graham Roberts, 30, died in a road accident as he went off duty on 2 August 1980 while PC Andrew James, who was 38, died when he was hit by a passing car while chasing a burglar on foot in 2003.
Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation said: “Today we remember Graham and Andrew and their service to the Force.
“Our thoughts remain with the families and friends they left behind.”
