Free football tickets for Fed members

South Wales Police Federation is pleased to announce it will once again be offering members tickets for Cardiff City and Swansea City games this season.
 
These tickets are initially offered to officers who are facing serious welfare issues, reflecting our commitment to providing support and relief during particularly challenging times. If there are no immediate welfare cases that meet the criteria, the tickets will be allocated via a random draw among those who have registered their interest and provided their availability for specific matches.
 
Mike George, secretary of South Wales Police Federation, said: “We understand the significant challenges faced by our officers on a daily basis. 
 
“This initiative is our way of offering a well-deserved break and some enjoyment through live football. 
 
“We hope these tickets bring joy and a moment of respite to our dedicated members who consistently give their all in service.”

Members can apply for a pair of tickets via the following route:

  • Registration: To enter the draw, please select the club (Cardiff City or Swansea City) you wish to visit by choosing the relevant club’s crest on our website. You can register for both clubs if you wish.
  • Provide Availability: Ensure you provide your availability for the matches you are interested in. This information is crucial for us to effectively allocate tickets and ensure that you can attend a match that fits your schedule.
  • Update Availability: If you need to make changes to your availability, please contact South Wales Police Federation at swpf@polfed.org to update your details.

Key Details:

  • Ticket Allocation: Two tickets will be drawn for each match. Please note: It is a requirement that the officer who wins the draw must attend the match or decline the tickets. You can bring a guest of your choice, but the tickets are non-transferable and cannot be given to anyone else.
  • Cost: These tickets are completely free for successful members.
