What is it like to be a man in 2024? Join the discussion
The online seminar titled, ‘What’s it like to be a man in 2024’, will involve Zac, who is also the Federation’s men’s health lead, discussing some of the challenges and issues men - specifically police officers - are facing today.
Zac will be joined by Mark Brooks OBE, senior communications and policy advisor for men’s health, with the pair discussing the ongoing challenges and issues men face in the 21st century, specifically those in policing.
Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation, said: “Men and women face evolving challenges daily, especially those in policing.
Wellbeing
“This webinar not only gives members the chance to connect but it allows them to recognise that they’re not alone in how they might be feeling.
“Better still, I hope it helps to break down the stigmas surrounding men’s health, while encouraging officers to open up more about their wellbeing and the challenges they are facing.”
Police Care UK will also be joining the session, showcasing useful resources for serving and retired police officers.
The online session will kick off at 12.45pm and is expected to finish at 2pm.
