South Wales Police Federation chair Steve Treharne has paid tribute to PC Andrew James who died on this day in 2003.

Andrew (38) was hit by a car as a he chased a burglar outside the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff and died later in hospital.

“The thoughts of everyone at South Wales Police Federation are today with Andrew’s family, friends and former colleagues. He will never be forgotten.”
