South Wales Police Federation today remembers an officer from the Force who died on this day 25 years ago.

 

PC Ian Godfrey, 30, was killed on 20 June 1999 when his patrol was involved in a road traffic accident.

 

“The thoughts of everyone at South Wales Police Federation are with Ian’s family, friends and former colleagues today,” says branch chair Phil Walker.

 

“We remember his service to the Force and the communities we serve.”
