South Wales Police Federation today remembers PC Gary Jones.

Gary was on duty on his police motorcycle when he died in a road accident on 28 June 1979. He was 30.

Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation, said today: “Our thoughts are with Gary’s loved ones as we mark this anniversary. It is really important for us to continue to honour those officers who gave their lives while serving their communities.”
