To mark International Women’s Day, members of South Wales Police Federation are being encouraged to join a series of informative and inspiring webinars taking place this week.
On Friday 6 March, a dedicated session titled ‘Give to Gain – How Supporting Others Accelerates Your Own Success’ will explore how mentorship and collaboration can help unlock leadership potential.
Inspector Sophie King, Outstanding Contribution to Women in Policing Award 2025 winner, will lead the discussion. The Sussex Police Officer will share her experiences of coaching and how empowering others can also positively influence your own confidence, effectiveness, and career growth.

The one-hour webinar, running from 11am until midday, will provide practical insights for anyone looking to grow as a leader, improve teamwork, or feel more confident in their role.
Members can register online by clicking this link.
Earlier in the week, six additional webinars will focus on women’s health and wellbeing. These sessions will address topics including anxiety, sleep, nutrition, menopause, self-care, and managing stress.
They will take place tomorrow (Tuesday 3 March) and Thursday 5 March, with each session 45-minutes long.
Members can attend multiple sessions. Register here.
International Women’s Day itself will be observed on Sunday 8 March.
