South Wales Police Federation members can take advantage of a Government-backed savings scheme that could help them onto the property ladder or strengthen their long-term financial future.
Police Friendly is highlighting the benefits of a Lifetime ISA (LISA), a tax-efficient savings option available to members aged between 18 and 39.
A LISA allows savers to invest up to £4,000 per year tax-free until the age of 50. The Government adds a 25 per cent bonus annually, which could be worth up to £1,000 each year and as much as £32,000 over the lifetime of the LISA.
Bonuses
Spouses are eligible too, which means you could get up to £2,000 a year in Government bonuses.
Contributions can start from as little as £50 per month, and others can also contribute.
The scheme can be used towards purchasing a first home or accessed at age 60, helping officers build long-term financial security.
