South Wales Police Federation will today mark the anniversary of the death of PC Leslie Sears.
Leslie was fatally injured in a road traffic collision while on traffic patrol on 21 July 1970, aged 28
Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation, said: “Today we will pause to reflect and remember Leslie, who died while serving the people of South Wales.
“It is important that the service and sacrifice of police officers who are killed in the line of duty is never forgotten.”
