South Wales Police Federation today remembers a Force PC who died on this day 31 years ago.
PC Ralph Friend was 28 when he died in a motorbike accident as he travelled home from duty on 2 November 1994.
Phil Walker, Federation branch chair, said: “Today we remember Ralph and the service he gave to the Force and the people of South Wales.
“We also keep his family in our thoughts as they mark this sad anniversary.”
