Today marks the 21st anniversary of the death of South Wales Police PC Daniel Thomas.
Daniel, nicknamed ‘Sam’ by some of his colleagues’ was killed in a motorcycle accident when he was travelling home from duty at Barry on 20 February 2005. He was aged 34.
Phil Walker, South Wales Police Federation chair, said: “Today we take time to pause, reflect, and remember PC Daniel Thomas and the service he gave to South Wales Police.
“We also think of his family, his friends, and his colleagues.”
